One year with MAS

Wowww! I cant believe it... It feels like just yesterday I went to the interview room, being interviewed by the panel... And I can still remember all the questions asked and how screwed up my answers were....

And here I am now, one year being an Associate with the MAS... Lots of things had happened along the way... I have learnt lots and lots more than I can possibly imagine... And all I can say is that I have a sweet and sour relationship with my work! Hahaaa... It's up to you how you wanna interpret it... But I love deep-fried fish fillets with sweet and sour sauce... Hehee...

Lets take a walk down my memory lanes with MAS, shall we? But before we start, I just wanna thank all my colleagues and friends for making my time with MAS so far, so colorful and interesting...

Busy Saturday

Wohooooo... Finally, I have time to update my blog with smt more meaningful... wakakaa... Was v busy for the past few months studying for my CFA exam... Pls pray for me so tt I can pass... hahaaa... Result will be out 3 months from now... Wish me luck... Best of luck pls... =p

Anyway, just jotting down what I did today... Tdy was quite a busy yet fruitful day... woke up at 9.30am then went cycling at pasir ris park (initially the plan was to cycle at east coast park, but I woke up late =P). I havent been cycling for super super donkey years... And I think it explains why it took me 10 mins or so to be able to ride the bike again... wakakaa... *feel abit embarrassed while typing this... hahaa...

Thr's a new playground at the park and it was quite fun to play... And also a swamp with .... hmmm .... nothing very much actually... hahaaa... But took quite a nice pic (at least to me) somewhere inside... So it's quite worthwhile... hehee...

After tt, we went to Tampines to have lunch, walk walk, see see, and watch movie... Hahaaa... No nice movies to watch this week... But in the end, decided to watch "I love you, man". And I was pleasantly surprised... It's quite funny and interesting... hahaaa...

After the show, we went back home... took a nap and someone is so nice to cook hor fun for me for dinner... Hahaaaa.... And it's nice!! I think it deserves an A for a first timer... Hahaaaa...

After dinner, watch some DVDs, and then here I am... Updating my blog... Hahaaaa... I really hope that all my weekends will always be as fun as tdy! *fingers crossed =D

Reunion Dinner 2009

Yay!! This is definitely the highlight of my holiday this time... Lots of fun, lots of laughs, lots of foods, lots of joy and of course lots of angbaos! =p

It was on 31 Jan 2009 at my uncle's house. We started the day with a prayer to God and our ancestors in the morning (I think this is a tradition in some Chinese families).

Then we had our reunion dinner in the evening!!! I ate a lot lot lot lot lot until my tummy wanna burst! Hahaaa...

There's also a bday celebration for my cousin, whose bday fell on the same date as the CNY eve...
After the dinner, there's a karaoke session... It was quite fun although I didn't sing at all... Hahaaa... I cant sing and I'm not really into karaoke and stuff... =p

When the clock ticked to 12 midnight, we continued the fun with some fireworks and fire crackers!

Well, after all those activities, our tummies started to crawl again... And its time for supper! We had a mini BBQ session with some corn, meatballs & sausages at the garden. Too bad, we didn't take any pics as we were all very tired by then... Hahaa... Really look forward for the dinner again next year! =D

New additions to the family??

One of the new things that surprised me when I went back home this time round is that there are 2 new cats in the house... They are not my pets nor my parents', but they belong to my maids. Hahaa... Although they are just normal "stray" cats, but they look cute in pictures... Hohoo~ Dont u agree!?

Home Sweet Home...

I went back home on 29 Jan 09 to celebrate CNY with my family... Although it was only for a very short period, I had lots of fun with some sweet and nice memories for me to remember forever... For example, my parents welcomed me home with this:

It's my graduation picture with my fave flowers, stargazer & casablanca lilies (in case you don't know =p). And if u zoom in, there's a card hanging on the flowers... So Sweet!!! ^^

I ate a lot, I shopped a lot, I played a lot and I drank a lot!

Although most of my friends disbelieved that my height is "175 cm" and said that the measurement was inaccurate, I was so happy with it!! =D But I have to agree that the weight measurement was super duper inaccurate!!

I know it's been super duper longggggggg time since I last updated my blog... Lots of things had happened and now I'm very happy and excited to welcome 2009!! One of my new year's resolutions is to update this blog at least weekly or bi-weekly... hahaaa... cant promise much tho...
